Maintenance Tips
-
Inspect Pads Regularly: Check for any visible signs of wear, such as tears, cracks, or fading. Repair or replace any damaged sections to ensure safety and durability.
-
Clean After Use: Wipe down the pads with a damp cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and debris. This helps prevent material degradation and keeps the pads in good condition.
-
Check Fasteners and Straps: Periodically inspect the straps, buckles, and fasteners for tightness and wear. Tighten or replace any loose or damaged components to keep the pads secure.
-
Protect from Harsh Weather: If the pads are exposed to outdoor elements, consider covering them when not in use to prevent UV damage and weather-related wear.
-
Inspect Padding Integrity: Ensure the internal padding is intact and firm. If the pads lose their shape or cushioning, replace them to maintain effective protection during use.
