The SSR GTX01 wheel uses flow forming technology to make a strong, light weight wheel while keeping costs low.
In 1971 SSR released the first 3 piece wheel, the MK1. Each SSR wheel is designed to withstand JWL testing before they are used on the street or track. JWL certification by the Japanese government involves testing impact strength and endurance strength. Additionally in 1981, a 3rd party statutory board the VIA (Vehicle Inspection Association) was created to verify JWL testing. Both the JWL and VIA logo are embossed into each and every SSR wheel representing SSR's dedication to quality control.
The newest wheel from SSR is their GTX Flowform series. Each wheel in the GTV Flowform series of wheels embodies this tradition for high quality, lightweight and strength.
Price is PER WHEEL.
The GTX series wheels are new entry level one-piece monoblock wheels aimed at the budget enthusiast looking to get SSR quality wheels at the right price. The flow forming technology allows for a sturdy wheel using less material while retaining high strength properties like all other SSR brand wheels.
SSR Wheels was founded in 1971 in Japan and continues to design and manufacture the highest quality wheels for performance and show vehicles. In order to deliver quality and reassurance, SSR's unique quality control of production surpasses JWL standards. SSR takes a different stance when supplying wheels to the race circuit. The race spec wheels are manufactured in the same essence as the commercialized wheels. This gives SSR direct feedback from the race circuit to further enhance the technology of the wheels. Time spent at the track and involvement with an array of motorsports has led to the technological developments that are embedded in every SSR wheel. SSR continues its involvement in motorsports with numerous victories in JGTC, Time Attack, Formula D, and D1GP.
