      Clean, Crisp, Clear, these three words define OEM Audio Plus, a series of plug-and-play sound systems engineered specifically for Scion, Subaru and Toyota automobiles.

      OEM Audio Plus is the brainchild of Sandy Lirag, an auto and audio enthusiast with more than 30 years experience in the aftermarket and OEM auto sound industries. With his experience in developing premium, factory-installed sound systems, he identified a need for great-sounding systems that could be installed by professionals and amateurs alike.

       

      “There's no reason why great-sounding automotive sound systems need to be complex, or expensive,” says Lirag. “With OEM Audio Plus, the dealer removes the stock speakers, replacing them with premium-quality components that bolt right in to the factory locations along with a subwoofer enclosure designed for each application. Then we add a multichannel digital amplifier that has been equalized for each car, matched perfectly for the replacement speakers and the enclosed subwoofer.”

       

      The start-up company, based in Southern California, was launched in late 2009. Over the next six months it met with several automotive manufactures before establishing a program to supply dealer-installed sound systems for Scion, the brand created for personalization launched by Toyota in 2003.

       

      The OEM Audio Plus product is a perfect alternative to complicated custom stereo that requires hours of installation, tuning and headache. The level of integration engineered into each car specific system and seamless installation make the OEM Audio Plus systems great products for all stereo shops to make available to their customers. The end result is a customer experience which is unmatched.
