How can
you not love the mid 80′s look of the endurance and other race motorcycles?
Here’s one of 1,500 of the Ducati 1985 750 F1s based on the Pantah TT. This particular 750 F1′s style replicates Marco Lucchinelli’s factory Ducati. This example has the quick-release front lights meant for night racing. The owner upgraded it a bit with some modern bits like titanium hardware and other weight removal. Check out Marco’s original bike above. Gotta dig the old 80s race suits. The real question is : does the current owner actually ride this bike? I definitely hope so. That’s one thing about really nice / exotic cars and bikes is that the owners will just sit them in a garage for years until sold. I understand how sometimes, it is a means of investment, but I think it’s a shame for a high-end sports car to not be thrashed about as designed. Much props either way to the owner of this bike. The tricolore paint job mixed with the classic 80s body shape and round head lamps is a definite win in my book. |
